Cookie Notice
Founder Partner uses very little browser storage. This page lists everything we actually set, what it does, and how to control it.
- Effective date:
- August 3, 2026
This document is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice, and it has not been reviewed by an attorney.
Summary
“Cookies” here also covers similar browser technologies such as localStorage, which is what we mostly use.
Categories we use
Scroll the table sideways to see every column.
| Category | What it does | Consent |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps the site working: page requests, load balancing, and basic error handling by our hosting providers. | Not required |
| Authentication | Keeps reviewer network members signed in to the private Signal Desk. Set by our authentication provider. Not set for founders using the public site. | Not required |
| Security | Helps detect abuse, protect sign-in, and keep sessions from being reused. | Not required |
| Preferences | Remembers small choices you have already made — for example, that you dismissed the invitation dialog, so we do not show it again for seven days. | Not required |
| Analytics | Not currently used. If we add analytics, we will use a privacy-conscious tool, update this page, and ask for consent where required before it loads. | Not in use |
| Marketing or advertising | Not used. We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting. | Not in use |
What we do not use
- Advertising or retargeting pixels
- Session replay or screen recording
- Cross-site tracking
- Device fingerprinting
- Selling or sharing browsing data
Your controls
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary or authentication storage may prevent the private Signal Desk from working. Clearing preference storage simply resets small choices, such as whether the invitation dialog has been dismissed.
If we later add non-essential technologies, we will add a consent control with equally prominent Accept and Reject non-essential options, keep non-essential technologies switched off until consent is given where required, and let you change your choice at any time from this page.
Changes
We will update this page whenever the technologies we use change, along with the effective date at the top.
