  • Legally privileged information
  • Government identification numbers

  • Passwords or authentication credentials
  • Health information
  • Sensitive personal information, including information about race, ethnicity, religion, political opinions, sexual orientation, biometrics, or precise location

If you believe you have submitted something in this list by mistake, contact glennyancy@gmail.com and we will work to remove it.

Why we use it

  • Receive and administer founder submissions
  • Review what a founder needs
  • Generate The Read, our internal summary of a submission
  • Identify relevant people, resources, or next steps
  • Route submissions to authorized reviewer network participants
  • Communicate with founders about their signal
  • Operate the private Signal Desk
  • Maintain the security of the service
  • Prevent abuse and fraud
  • Improve the service
  • Produce aggregated or de-identified insights that do not identify any founder
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims

How AI is used and The Read

  • Founder submissions may be processed by third-party AI service providers.
  • AI may generate an internal summary called The Read.
  • The Read may include interpretations, follow-up questions, clarity gaps, recommended next steps, and potential routing categories.
  • AI outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate.
  • The Read is clearly labeled as internal interpretation and is never presented as a statement made by the founder.
  • The Read is not an automated funding decision and produces no legal or similarly significant effect on its own.
  • Human reviewer network participants decide whether to take any action.
  • We do not guarantee that any AI-generated interpretation is correct.
  • Where technically available, we configure AI providers so that submitted information is not used to train general-purpose models.

Your own words are stored exactly as you wrote them. The Read sits beside your submission in the Signal Desk, never on top of it.

Who may review it

Information may be shared with:

  • Authorized Founder Partner reviewer network participants
  • Lovable — application development and hosting. Builds, hosts, and serves the Founder Partner website and its server functions.
  • Supabase — database, authentication, and backend infrastructure. Stores founder submissions and consent records, and authenticates reviewer network members.
  • Google Gemini — ai processing. Generates The Read, the internal AI-assisted summary of a founder submission. Verified against the current implementation, which calls the Gemini 2.5 Flash model.
  • Hosting, email, and security providers supporting the above
  • Professional advisers, such as legal and accounting advisers
  • Authorities, when legally required
  • A successor in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of assets, subject to appropriate notice

Authorized reviewer network participants may act independently and are not necessarily employees, agents, partners, or representatives of the operator. Reviewers are expected to use submitted information only for Founder Partner review, routing, and appropriate follow-up, under the Network Terms.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International processing

Founder Partner is operated from the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where authorized network participants and service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will use contractual, technical, organizational, or other legally recognized safeguards appropriate to the transfer. Additional information may be requested through the Privacy Request page.

How long we keep it

  • Active founder submissions may be retained for up to 24 months after submission or the last meaningful interaction.
  • Archived records may be retained for up to 36 months when reasonably necessary for security, audit, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or the defense of claims.
  • Some information may be retained longer when legally required.
  • De-identified or aggregated information, which does not identify you, may be retained longer.

These periods are our current practice and may be updated. The version and effective date at the top of this notice tell you which version you are reading.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live and which law applies, you may be able to request:

  • Access to the information we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of your information
  • Withdrawal from future routing
  • Objection to certain processing
  • Restriction of certain processing
  • A portable copy of information you provided
  • Information about how your information is processed
  • An appeal of a denied request, where an appeal right applies
  • To lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy regulator

Submit a request through the privacy request page or by emailing glennyancy@gmail.com. You do not need an account to make a request, and we will not treat you differently for making one.

Verification

We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, usually by confirming control of the email address used to submit a signal. We will not confirm whether a particular email address exists in our records before verification is complete.

Authorized agents

Where applicable law allows, an authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may ask for proof of the agent’s authority and may still verify your identity directly.

Age

Founder Partner is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact glennyancy@gmail.com.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls on the private Signal Desk, database-level row security, encrypted transport, and masking of founder contact details from reviewers who have not been assigned a signal.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed or disclosed in a way this notice does not describe.

Changes

We may update this notice. When we do, we will change the effective date and version at the top of this page. For material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as a notice on the site or an email to founders whose signals are active, where we have a working address and it is appropriate to do so.
